Businesses to lobby MP
BUSINESSES in south Warwickshire are to get their chance to put their questions to Stratford-on-Avon MP Nadhim Zahawi.
The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce has organised its latest branch meeting at the Crowne Plaza hotel next Friday, 8th June, at 8am.
It will be an opportunity for firms to hear from the Stratford MP on what government is doing to support business in the area but also raise any issues that are affecting them.
The event is open to members of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.
Louise Bennett, the Chamber’s chief executive, said: “Through our branch network, we ensure that issues affecting companies are heard by key decision-makers in the region.
“It can range from major concerns – such as the progress of Brexit – through to more localised issues and that is the beauty of the branches we operate across the region.
“Nadhim Zahawi has always engaged with the Chamber as a great way of hearing from the wider business community on his patch and we are looking forward to welcoming him to our next meeting.”
Any businesses wishing to attend should e-mail gemmab@cw-chamber.co.uk and can also submit any of their barriers to doing business to that same e-mail address if they can’t attend.
