Bernie ups the stakes with money talk

A WARWICK-based international speaker and business coach for the financial community has been addressing more than 8,500 delegates at a global conference in Hong Kong.

Bernie De Souza, whose clients list ranges from firms such as Barclays, HSBC, Prudential and Towergate to Manchester United and the England Women’s Cricket Team, was a keynote speaker at The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an international network of leading insurance and investment financial services professionals and advisors.

Such is the demand for places that more than 1,000 others were put in an overflow room and watched the speeches on a giant screen.

Mr De Souza gave two talks, one of which was on the main stage at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. MDRT took place from 28th to 30th January.

Back in the UK, Mr De Souza is running a series of workshops for the London-based Personal Finance Society (PFS), the professional body for the UK financial planning community with 35,000 members, to help financial advisors win back public confidence.
