Awards hat-trick for popular village pub

A WELFORD-ON-AVON pub has been named the best dining pub in Warwickshire by The Good Pub Guide 2017.

It is the third year in a row that The Bell Inn has received the accolade, and the pub joins just a handful of others nationally to have be awarded so many culinary gongs in such a short time.

Overall The Bell has picked up the award six times in the last 11 years.

Colin Ombler, who owns the business, said: “We are absolutely blown away at being awarded Warwickshire County Dining Pub of the Year 2017, this is a hat-trick for us, having received the award three years in succession, we have some very good businesses in the county, making the award even more rewarding.”

The award is focussed on food, but also takes into account the whole customer experience.

Colin added: “We would also like to say thank you to our suppliers, who deliver us quality ingredients with excellent service which helps us maintain consistency.”
