JCB raid on Chipping Campden cash point

The scene in Chipping Campden this morning following the raid on the HSBC cash machine.

Criminals targeted a cash machine in Chipping Campden in a destructive early morning raid today.

A stolen JCB was used to wrench the HSBC ATM from the wall adjacent to Huxley’s on High Street at around 3.50am.

Two men were seen at the scene, one was sitting in the digger and the other in a red pickup truck.

Gloucestershire Police believe other vehicles and offenders may also have been involved.

Part of the machine remains but all the cash trays are missing and a scene guard has been put in place around the immediate area while police enquiries continue.
