STRATFORD’S new £30million hospital has been given the Royal thumbs up this week as the Princess Royal officially opened the facility.
During the visit the Princess was led on a tour of the building, which specialises in treating cancer and eye conditions.
In front of health service bosses and civic dignitaries the Princess then unveiled a plaque in the foyer of the building, before saying a few words about the hospital.
The Princess said space is what you make of it and she was sure Stratford would make the best of the fantastic new hospital facilities.
