Masked raiders struck businesses at Wellesbourne Airfield last week causing extensive damage and stealing money destined for the legal battle against the redevelopment of the site into housing.
The break in happened in the early hours of 10th September when criminals smashed locks, windows and doors before they ransacked the buildings looking for cash.
Money was taken from the airfield tower and the premises of the South Warwickshire Flying School while a car was stolen from Take Flight aviation.
Premises belonging to Flywelle and the airfield office were also broken into.
£1,000 which had been donated the previous weekend by a private flyer towards the airfield legal fight, was among the £2,500 stolen from the South Warwickshire Flying School.
