Aston Martin to float in the autumn

ASTON Martin has announced it plans to float in London in the autumn.

The 105-year-old British car maker based near Gaydon, is now in profit after years of financial struggles.

That’s due in no small part to former Kineton High School pupil and current chief executive Andy Palmer who has revamped the motoring group’s fortunes.

He described the decision as very significant for the company because Aston Martin will be owned by the British public and not a foreign investor.
