A huge £45million investment at the historic Studley Castle Hotel will create more than 200 local jobs.

The Grade II listed 180-year-old building is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment, funded by parent company Warner Leisure Hotels, due to be complete early next year.

When complete the hotel will boast 200 rooms, a restaurant, bistro, cinema, a spa, lounges and offer a range of outdoor activities.

To mark the start of its recruitment drive, two open days will be held this Thursday and Friday (28th and 29th June) at the Kings Court Hotel at nearby Kings Coughton.

Dean Saunders, General Manager Studley Castle Hotel, said: “The learning and development of our team is a top priority and we continually invest in their training to ensure they can not only reach their potential, but also have every opportunity to enjoy a long and successful career in the leisure and tourism industry.

“Our aim is to build a strong, dynamic team that enjoy working together to give guests memories that last a lifetime.

“We’re very much looking forward to hosting open days.”

The open days will take place between 3-8pm on Thursday and 9am-12pm on Friday.
