The latest designs for Stratford’s controversial South Western Relief Road (SWRR) will be presented to stakeholders during a meeting next week, before going on show to the public.

Following the stakeholder meeting on Monday, a range of designs for the proposed SWRR will be presented to the public during a consultation event on 8th and 10th February.

Cala Homes say the SWRR is an integral part of its project to build up to 3,500 houses at Long Marston Airfield, though the Stratford Resident’s Action Group (SRAG) oppose the plan.

Michael Emett, Strategic Land Director at CALA Homes, said: “We appreciate that there is a lot of local interest in the SWRR and are pleased to be able to provide residents with an opportunity to view the proposed plans and discuss these with representatives from CALA Homes. Importantly, we are keen to receive feedback on which designs the local community prefer before the final proposal is submitted.”

The public consultation event runs from 4-8pm on Thursday 8th February and 9am-1pm on Saturday 10th February.
