STRATFORD-UPON-AVON MP Nadhim Zahawi has praised a south Warwickshire housing developer after it was named as the most considerate construction company in the UK.

Great Alne-based Linfoot Country Homes Ltd, beat thousands of other companies to win the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s award, two years after being named runner-up.

The company was selected as the winner of the £250,000 to £3.5 million turnover category.

Judges praised Linfoot Country Homes’ impeccable industry image, which included smart signage, branded workwear, clean and tidy roads and smartly defined site boundaries.

The company’s support for local good causes also found favour with the judges.

Mr Zahawi MP said: “It’s always heart-warming to see a great company in my constituency, and it goes to prove that it is possible to be considerate and respectful as a business while also being successful.”

Linfoot Country Homes chairman, Ken Linfoot, added: “This is very important because we consider the awards to be our industry’s most prestigious.”
