VIDEO: Herald elections hustings

Stratford’s general elections candidates pulled no punches last week as they battled to win votes at the Herald’s Elections Hustings.

Former BBC presenter/broadcaster Will Hanrahan chaired the hustings, doing well to steer the debate through a range of questions and press candidates for concise answers to difficult questions.

Will Hanrahan, centre, chaired the debate featuring all six Stratford-on-Avon candidates, from left, Jandy Spurway (Independent), Dominic Giles (Green), Nadhim Zahawi (Conservative), Jeff Kenner (Labour), Elizabeth Adams (Lib Dem) and Tom Darwood (Independent).                                                                                   Photo: Iain Duck

Feedback from the event, which was broadcast live on the Herald website, has been overwhelmingly positive, with differing opinions about who people thought came out on top on the night.
