ENGLAND’s cricket team face Pakistan at Warwickshire County Cricket Club’s Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham in an Investec Test Match in August — and you could be there courtesy of this week’s competition in the Stratford Herald.

We are giving readers a chance to witness one of the biggest sporting events of the summer with three family tickets up for grabs in the Drayton Manor Family Stand.

Three lucky winners will receive two adult and two under 16s tickets for day one of England versus Pakistan in the third Test of the Investec Series on Wednesday, 3rd August.

Last summer Edgbaston won many plaudits for its hosting England’s eight-wicket victory over rivals Australia in the Investec Ashes Series, with home skipper Alastair Cook describing the event as ‘a special occasion’ while a recent spectator report revealed that the atmosphere was the best in international cricket in 2015.

Edgbaston has been a fortress for Alastair Cook’s England, who have lost just one Test Match at the Birmingham venue since 2002, and an overall record of 25 wins, eight defeats and 15 draws in the 48 matches that it has hosted since 1902.

The four-match series with Pakistan is eagerly awaited by cricket fans around the world, with England seeking revenge from the 2-0 series defeat inflicted in the United Arab Emirates in the autumn last year.
