Long-serving Mumford leaves Alcester Town

Due to his work commitments on Saturday mornings, Mumford felt it was better to play for the Coventry Alliance side.

Alcester manager Jamie Robbins said: “I’m disappointed to see Dan go but I fully understand his reasons and I wish him all the best with his football and his work commitments.

“He will remain a signed player for us on a dual registration basis.”

After having a fixture-free Saturday last week, Alcester look to return to winning ways this Saturday when they entertain Redditch Borough in Midland League Division Three.
