The Herald has launched an affordable online listings service to help organisers promote local events!

By becoming members of the Herald website (free of charge), event organisers will be able to choose from a selection of event types and post a 200-character description of their particular event all for a one-off payment of just £5.99. The listing will remain posted until the end of the day the event takes place, so the earlier a posting is made the longer it will be available for viewing. In addition, each Thursday all the events for the following week will be published in the Herald!

 

How to use the system:

To add an advert you need to have registered an account with the Herald. If you already have an account, please skip this paragraph, otherwise click here. A new window will open and you will be asked for your e-mail address and your paypal e-mail address (IMPORTANT! You must put the paypal address you will be paying with or our payment system will not recognise you!) and to create a username and password. Once you have done this, click 'register' and you will be sent a confirmation e-mail. Open this e-mail and click the link inside. You now have a registered account!

Now log into the site using the username and password you set. This will take you to your subscriber's page. Here you can purchase online issues of the Herald and advertising tokens. Once you have purchased an advertising token, you will also have the option to add an advert. 

To add the advert, simply fill out the title, description, start and end date of the event (for single day events, put the same day twice) and which category you would like it to appear in, then click 'add event'.
