Stratford RFC test league leaders

STATFORD RFC went down by 17 points to 8 after producing a gritty performance at Midlands 1 West leaders Old Halesonians on Saturday.

In Midlands 2 West (South), Shipston slipped into the bottom three following their 22-13 defeat at home to Newbold.

Southam's struggles in Midlands 3 West (South) continue after they lost 34-14 at home to local rivals Old Leamingtonians.

In Midlands 4 West (South), Harbury also prevailed in their local derby with Claverdon at Waterloo Fields, winning 17-7. Alcester are still in a relegation battle after losing 31-7 at home to Birmingham Civil Service.

The basement battle between Warwickian and Keresley ended all-square at 14-14.

In Midlands 5 West (South), Wellesbourne lost 24-8 at home to Stoke Old Boys.
