A MOTHER and her young daughter were left miraculously unscathed after their car flipped over in a crash in Stratford-upon-Avon this afternoon.
The Peugeot people carrier they were travelling in overturned at the traffic lights at the bottom of Birmingham Road around 4.15pm.
Their car, which was travelling north up the Birmingham Road, was in collision with another car travelling across the junction from Arden Street to Clopton Road.
The people carrier flipped over in the incident, shattering its windows. It is believed the only occupant of the other car was the male driver.
A paramedic on the scene told the Herald that nobody was injured in the crash.
The northbound carriageway of the Birmingham Road was closed while a recovery team righted the people carrier before taking it away.
Diversions were put in place during rush hour and traffic began to back up in town, but the road was cleared and reopened shortly after 5.30pm.
A recovery team clears away the Peugeot.
