STRATFORD-upon-Avon’s Festival of Motoring is back for a second year, it has been confirmed.
Like last year’s event, the festival will take place over May bank holiday on Sunday 4th and Monday 5th May.
Roaring engines will fill the streets of Stratford as a variety of vehicles, from treasured classics to modern supercars, tour the town.
Event organiser Adrian Grubb said: “Last year’s inaugural Stratford Festival of Motoring was a resounding success and we are thrilled to be hosting it again in 2014, such is the love of the British public for cars, old and new.
“We hope to put on a show of classic and modern Aston Martins, as last year, which drew huge attention from the public, and we are privileged to have two Global Motoring Brands, Jaguar Landrover and Aston Martin literally on our doorstep and both great supporters of the festival."
Car giant JLR are providing a surprise star attraction this year while Alscot Park Garage are sponsoring the event. TV presenter Quentin Willson will also be attending.
If you have an historic or unusual vehicle and would like to participate in the festival and runs, please contact Adrian Grubb by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
