TWO teenagers were injured in a car crash on the Fosse Way on Saturday.
The crash took place near the Moreton Morrell campus of Warwickshire College, shortly before 1.30pm.
The 19-year-old men were travelling in a Ford Fiesta that was involved in a collision with a BMW.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “There were two 19-year-old men in the Fiesta. The passenger was trapped and had to be cut free.
“He had back pain and was immobilised with the use of a spinal board and neck collar. The driver was up and about, out of the vehicle. Both were taken in the same ambulance to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
“The driver of the BMW, a man in his 50s, was assessed and discharged at the scene.”
Two fire crews from Leamington helped cut the teenager out of the Fiesta. They were on scene until 2.30pm.
