IRISH twins Jedward were in Stratford-upon-Avon today (Tuesday) filming for their CBBC show, ‘Jedward’s Big Adventure’.
John and Edward Grimes, the 22-year-old identical twin brothers, were due to visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, the RSC, Holy Trinity Church, and Mary Arden’s Farm.
After shooting to fame in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009, the singing duo competed for Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011.
They are currently filming their third series of ‘Jedward’s Big Adventure’, which follows the pair around various historical sites of the UK.
The twins have to learn as many facts about each site as they can before leading a tour of real tourists around.
They then go head-to-head to see who can teach their tourists the most, and at the end of the show the tourists are given a quiz.
The Stratford episode is due to be aired in the new year.
