POLICE are now looking for the 17-year-old girl who went missing at the Mop Fair on Saturday night.
Shannon Scarrott, from Gloucestershire, was last seen going into McDonald’s on Bridge Street around 9pm. She left via the exit on Waterside about 15 minutes later.
The daughter of one of the showmen, earlier on in the day she was seen operating the Ghost Train ride at the bottom of Bridge Street.
She is described as a white female, 5ft 8ins tall, slim build with long, dark hair.
She was last seen wearing a red Barbour coat, jeans, and wore a red bow in her hair.
Her sister Jade Scarrott, told the Herald on Monday morning: “We really want her home and we miss her. We need her home.”
Police are following a number of leads and are working with officers in another force area where Shannon may be staying.
Her family are being kept informed.
