Two air ambulances called for four-week-old baby

TWO air ambulances were called for a four-week-old baby in Shipston-on-Stour on Tuesday.

However, the month-old baby suffering from breathing difficulties was taken by land to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in an ambulance.

Called to a private property off London Road just before 4pm, paramedics left the scene at 4.30pm and arrived at hospital with the baby at 4.45pm.

Helicopters from Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were called but a decision was made to take the baby to hospital by land.
