Teenager chased down and arrested on suspicion of dealing cannabis

AN 18-year-old male was chased down by police in Alcester on Thursday night and arrested on suspicion of dealing cannabis.

Two special constables on a routine patrol pulled into the courtyard of a factory in Tything Road, Kinwarton, just after midnight and saw a teenager run fron the direction of an empty building.

They stopped him and arrested him on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug with intent to supply after finding a bag containing what they believe to be a small amount of cannabis nearby.

Following questioning, the male was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
