Porsche climbs up traffic light

A SILVER Porsche Boxster ended half-way up a traffic light after a crash in Stratford on Saturday.

The soft-top sports car drove along the railings and hit the traffic light at the pedestrian crossing in Evesham Place at 2pm.

The driver, Vicki Weetman from Welford, later told the Herald that she had been “bumped” by a Mini pulling out of the junction just before the crossing.

She hit the light after swerving back to her side of the carriage-way to avoid oncoming traffic.
