A VAN driver died in a crash near Kineton, Warwickshire, early on Tuesday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the B4086 Banbury Road near Radway, between Kineton and Banbury at about 5.30am.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews found a small white van that had hit a tree and was in a ditch.
“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that there was nothing that could be done to save the driver and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
The road was closed to allow accident investigators to complete their work and for the vehicle to be recovered.
Police said details of the deceased man would not be released until the formal identification process has been completed and all close relatives informed.
