Man airlifted to hospital after injury in Stratford

A MAN was airlifted to hospital after he fell and injured his head in Trevelyan Crescent, Stratford-upon-Avon, last Friday.

A Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance landed on playing fields and flew the injured man to University Hospital in Coventry for further treatment.

The Air Ambulance was requested by paramedics on scene because of the distance to a major trauma centre.
