Woman cut free from crash near Sambourne

FIREFIGHTERS had to remove a woman from the wreckage of her car near Sambourne in Warwickshire on Saturday.

Called shortly after 2pm, crews removed the woman after a three-car crash on the junction with Jill Lane and The Slough near Studley Common.

Suffering arm and abdominal injuries, she was taken to University Hospital in Coventry. Another woman and a man were injured, but they were found out of their car by
paramedics and were treated on the scene.

Firefighters from Henley and Redditch attended.
