Stratford chef appearing on Saturday Morning Kitchen

STRATFORD-upon-Avon chef Steve Love is to conjure up a culinary delight live in front of cameras on James Martin’s Saturday Morning Kitchen on BBC One, this weekend.

Steve, who grew up in Stratford and went to Stratford College, says he plans to cook a prawn dish but can’t give away too many details as the meal is meant to be a pleasant and tasty surprise for people to try at home.

Steve’s love of cooking grabbed him as a teenager and he worked at Ettington Park before taking the head chef's position at Mallory Court.

In 2004 he entered the National Chef of the Year for Great Britain and was awarded the title just weeks after getting married to his partner Claire.

The couple own the award-winning Loves Restaurant in Birmingham.

Steve Love will be on Saturdary Morning Kitchen this weekend.
