Class A drugs raid in Stratford

A DRUGS raid on a property in Drayton Avenue, Stratford-upon-Avon, last Friday led to the arrest of a woman.

Police seized an amount of class A drugs from inside the property and arrested the woman on suspicion of possession of a class A substance with intent to supply.

They raided the property at around 2pm on Friday 28th December, and left the scene at 4.30pm.

She was then taken to Leamington Justice Centre to be interviewed.

Stratford’s Sgt Richard Thomas told the Herald she had been placed on police bail to allow for further investigations, and she will answer her bail in early February.
