Police are now asking lone walkers on the five-mile path from Stratford to Long Marston to make sure they have the means of contacting someone.

Acting Sgt Simon Osborne, of Stratford police, said: “Although the male has done nothing to physically harm anyone, his behaviour is at the least extremely upsetting to anyone who witnesses it and we are keen to identify him.”

Three incidents of indecent exposure have been reported to the police since mid-October by three different women. It is thought the same man is responsible for all three.

One sighting was near the car park off the Seven Meadows Road roundabout, another was further down the Greenway, near the bridge crossing the River Stour.

Officers are asking the public to help them by contacting the police immediately on 999 if they are subject to such an incident, and to call them on 101 with any information that could help them identify the male.
