STRATFORD RFC returned to action on Saturday with a convincing 46-22 victory over visiting Old Laurentians at Pearcecroft.
It was their second success in 2014, which sees them lie in eighth place in the Midlands 1 West league table. The Black-and-Whites travel to Silhillians next weekend.
Harbury still set the pace at the top in Midlands 4 West (South) after a 22-17 triumph over lowly Stoke Old Boys at Waterloo Fields.
Elsewhere in the division, Claverdon edged a close encounter at home to promotion-hopefuls Atherstone where they ran out 13-12 winners.
But Alcester are still in the bottom two after they were beaten 24-0 at Coventrians. It was their 12th defeat of the campaign.
In Midlands 3 West (South), Southam lost 22-17 at Old Yardleians while Shipston’s scheduled game at Pershore was postponed.
