STRATFORD Town manager Carl Adams has asked supporters to be patient as his runaway Baker-Joiner Midland Alliance league leaders prepare for the visit of Causeway United on Saturday.
Twenty goals in the last four games, including seven in last Saturday’s thumping win at Ellesmere, have left Town 16 points clear at the top with 16 games left to play—11 of which are at home.
And the run has cemented Stratford’s position as outright favourites to land the league title after promotion rivals Stourport Swifts and Loughborough University both dropped points on Tuesday night.
Swifts slumped to a shock 4-1 home defeat against Boldmere St Michaels while Loughborough were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Dunkirk.
