Snow decimates local sport

HEAVY snow wiped out today's (Saturday) local sporting programme across South Warwickshire.

The whole of the Midland Football Alliance schedule was called off including runaway leaders Stratford Town's home game against Tipton Town at the DCS Stadium.

Town will be hoping for a change in the severe conditions when they travel to second-placed Stourport Swifts on Tuesday night.

Stratford RFC will have to try for third time to play their Midlands 1 West game at Hereford after that game also fell victim to the elements. The original fixture was postponed back in December 2012.
