Town go nap to move 16 points clear

STRATFORD Town are now 16 points clear at the top of the Baker Joiner Midland Alliance following their 5-3 victory at Boldmere St Michaels on Saturday.

Nearest challengers Stourport Swifts crashed to a shock 4-0 defeat at Loughborough University to enable Carl Adams' side to increase the gap at the top.

Town were 3-1 up at the interval thanks to goals from Aaron Forde, Mark Faulds and Ricky Baker.

In the second-half, they extended the lead to 5-1 after a Tony Robinson penalty and a Lei Brown header before conceding two late goals.
