Racing Club Warwick manager resigns

RACING Club Warwick have appointed Tony Clarke as their new manager following the resignation of Curly O’Callaghan today.

Clarke has stepped up from his assistant manager post and he will have Mark Andrews working alongside him.

O’Callaghan had only been in charge at Townsend Meadow since the summer and led the club to an 8-3 victory over Coventry Spires in the Coventry Telegraph Cup on Saturday.

But league form has been disappointing and the Racers lie in the bottom three of the Athium Midland Combination Premier Division.
