Race director Philip Southwell, of Kenilworth Rotary Club, said: “The race, which this year takes place on Sunday 10th June is always over-subscribed so people are advised to register as soon as possible.”

Leamington Cycling and Athletics Club will again be lending their support and Leamington solicitors Blythe Liggins have agreed to be the principal sponsor for the seventh year running.

“It’s a wonderful event and the whole firm looks forward to taking part, whether as runners, marshals or by manning our water station,” said Blythe Liggins joint senior partner Richard Thorn-ton. “It’s an exhilarating event and we are very proud to be connected with it.”

The run is both for serious runners and for those who run for sheer enjoyment or for char-ity. Last year’s event en-abled over £110,000 to be raised for charities.
