Graham Gooch to speak at Henley Cricket Club

HENLEY Cricket Club are delighted to be welcoming Graham Gooch to speak at their annual captain's supper at Henley Golf and Country Club on Friday 24th February.

With president John Latham as the master of ceremonies, it promises to be a memorable and enjoyable evening.

‘Goochie’ remains England’s highest Test runs scorer and is also the current England batting coach. He can truly be described as a legend in the game. He will also be bringing some unique memorabilia for auction.

Following the first team’s promotion as Champions to the Premier Division of the Cotswold Hills League, the club are faced with the uphill task of raising much needed funds to improve the facilities and ensure the team have a successful 2012 campaign so don’t miss this opportunity to support your local club.
