THE HEADMASTER of Warwick School is retiring at the end of this school year after holding the position for 11 years.
Edward Halse will be replaced by his current Deput Head, Gus Lock, at the independent school for boys aged between 7-18.
Mr Halse said he was extremely pleased to be handing the reins over to Mr Lock.
“He is an exceptionally talented professional who possesses all the qualities necessary to ensure Warwick School continues to progress in all areas.”
Mr Lock, who starts as Headmaster in September, said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed headmaster of Warwick School.
“This is an exciting time for the school and I look forward to building on the exceptional opportunities the boys enjoy whilst maintaining the impressive standards laid down by the current headmaster."
Gus Lock will take over as Headmaster in September 2013.
