There is an emergency meeting on Tuesday at the village hall in School Road when Wellesbourne Parish Council will consider the committee’s plea.
There will be an open session at the meeting, which starts at 7.30pm, when residents can voice their opinions.
It is estimated the building would cost the parish council around £450,000, but that is subject to negotiations between valuers from Walton Estates and Stratford District Council.
Chris Cole, Chairman of the management committee said ideally the parish council would buy the estate, securing its use for the village in the long term.
But the council will also consider renting the property on behalf of the committee as well.
The adjacent car park which serves the shops and businesses in the village centre as well as the hall, is also included in the proposal.
Mr Cole said that without the car park, the shops and their customers will suffer as it will not be easy to find alternative parking spaces.
On average over 250 people use the hall every week for numerous different events and activities, and the management committee anticipate that a great deal of support for its purchase will be shown on the evening by the people of Wellesbourne and surrounding villages.
Mr Cole urged anyone who does not want to see the hall closed to attend tonight’s meeting and demonstrate their support.
