Stratford's first Victorian Christmas Fayre was held last year.

AFTER the huge success of last year’s inaugural Victorian Christmas Market Festival, which increased footfall in Stratford-upon-Avon by 90 per cent, the show’s back in town today, Friday, for three days of festive fun.

The market and the festival will include over 200 stalls with crafts, gifts, food and drinks plus lots of exciting present ideas.

There’s a funfair with a carousel and rides for children and adults as well as entertainment zones and music.

New for this year is a specially created Children’s Zone at the top of Wood Street next to the funfair which has face painting and puppets.

Stratford Town Council and Stratford District Council are again working in partnership with event organiser LSD Promotions for this year’s event which starts 11am, Friday.

The Christmas market will be on Waterside, Sheep Street, Bridge Street, Henley Street, High Street and Meer Street, with stalls that are street food and drink-related positioned on Wood Street.

Dates and times: Friday 7th December: 11am to 8pm; Saturday 8th: 10am to 8pm; Sunday 9th: 10am to 5pm.
