FOOTBALL fans across the district are being urged to get on the ball to help Stratford Foodbank.
Stratford Town Independent Supporters Club and Stratford Town are joining together to support the foodbank which helps those in need.
They are organising collections of donated food and toiletries for the club’s next three home games and are calling on fans to rally to the cause.
The first collection will be made before Saturday’s home game against Barwell and there will be further collections at the Arden Garages Stadium before next Tuesday’s fixture against Tamworth (11th December) and the following Tuesday’s game against Coalville Town (18th December).
Last year the foodbank provided nearly 1,300 three-day food parcels to people struggling to cope. They would be grateful for any in-date tinned or packaged food or toiletries such as deodorants and shampoo.
A list of the most in demand items is available online by going to the website at https://stratforduponavon.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/

Well how about some honesty with the food bank.
How many of the food bank’s customers can afford drugs/ alcohol and/ or mobile phones at 30p pm?
How many of the Food bank’s customers have how many children .
Why do Food bank clients believe that scrounging out side a coffee shop is a good career move?
