Warwick School prepare for national semi-final

WARWICK School’s Under-18s will be vying for a place in the semi-finals of the national Schools Cup when they meet Rugby School today.
Warwick have home advantage, with a 2.15pm kick-off at the school.
Warwick progressed into the last eight by defeating Uppingham 38-12.
They started well but allowed Uppingham into the match with poor discipline.
Warwick then took control with tries from prop Joe Jones, number 8 Roger Jackson and flanker Oscar Roberts and though Uppingham fought back before half-time to reduce the lead Warwick moved into the break 21-7 up.

After half-time Warwick defended excellently to create pressure on the opposition and ran away with the match with two tries from wing Jack Aston and a brilliant individual try from centre Alex Green.
The U15s team bowed of their respective Schools Cup, losing to Rugby School in a third round tie. It was a tough match, but a great contest and both teams gave everything they had until the final whistle.
