COLEBRIDGE Pasties inflicted a surprise whitewash on JLM Hussars to move to the top of the Stratford and District Table Tennis Association.
England Under-13 prospect Nathaniel Saunders notched a treble without the loss of a set and he was well supported by Tom Shortley and Mike Credland.
Clive Irwin and Alison Stewart both recorded trebles as Snitterfield continued their challenge for honours with a 9-1 victory over Tanworth Taipans.
But reigning champions Shottery A went down 6-4 to JLM Cavaliers in what was their second defeat of the season.Tony Seymour, Richard Grover and Robert McCluskey put in perfect display as Henley B gained a clean-sweep at Veterans.
Blazing Paddles overcame Henley A 7-3 with four of their wins coming in fifth-game deciders while hosts Shottery B defeated Ashorne 7-3.
