THE Shakespeare Hospice has launched a campaign to raise vital funds to help maintain the critical service it provides to people in south Warwickshire and the north Cotswolds.

The hospice, which last year helped over 1,000 adults and young people, has launched a £500,000 fundraising campaign to secure total funding of £2.4 million needed annually to ensure the hospice can provide specialised care across the board like its 24/7 Hospice at Home service.

Currently the hospice receives just over £180,000 from the NHS each year but that still means the hospice has to find 90 per cent of what it needs to continue its invaluable work.
