A Stratford architect is set to star in the new series of a popular ITV series launching tonight.
George Bradley will feature on the new series of Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Home and Garden along with his partner Ewald.
George and Ewald alongside fellow presenters, Alan Titchmarsh, Katie Rushworth and Kunle Barker, will transform the homes and gardens of deserving people across the country.
In the first episode, George and Ewald convert the home of Benita and her 15-year-old son Josh, who lives with multiple disabilities and uses a wheelchair.
In the program, George and Ewald create a new layout in the semi-detached house so that Benita help Josh from the front door out to the back garden with ease and relocate the previous tiny, inaccessible kitchen into a state of the art glasshouse so Benitia and Josh can cook together for the first time.
George Bradley and Ewald Van Der Straeten have been friends since university and started their architecture and interior design practice, Bradley Van Der Strateten, based in London, ten years ago.
Last year, they hosted their first episode of Love Your Home and Garden and are delighted that they have now been invited back for series two.
George said: “Working on the show with Alan Titchmarsh and the team has been a real privilege for us as architects. We both believe in the power that good design has to change peoples’ lives. To transform the homes of families who have faced consistent challenges and to be able to empower them, through their newly designed homes to achieve independence, happiness and increased well-being/comfort is why we do what we do.”
You can catch Love Your Home and Garden on ITV1 at 8pm on Tuesdays.
