Police appeal following Stratford hit and run collision


Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses or information following a hit and run collision in Stratford last week.

At 9.30pm on Sunday 6 May, a car collided with a pedestrian outside the Shell garage on Evesham Road.
The pedestrian, a 47-year-old man, sustained injuries to his arm, leg and pelvis, and was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is currently receiving treatment.

The vehicle, reported to be a black car, failed to stop and is believed to have left in the direction of the town.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have seen a black car in the area with damage to the front, to please come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 463 of 6 May 2018.
