STRATFORD’S latest exhibition is lifting the lid on a little-discussed chapter of the town’s history.

Visitors to The Old Slaughterhouse Heritage and Arts Centre can now take a pew in what is probably the town’s smallest exhibition located in the lavatory of Escape Arts off Sheep Street!

The tongue-in-cheek exhibition offers a potted history of Stratford’s latrines and gets to the bottom of Britain’s fascination with tales from the toilet seat.
