FORMER Stratford Town forward Dior Angus has signed for EFL League Two club Port Vale.

The 23-year-old joins Vale on an 18-month contract after scoring 17 times in 23 appearances for Redditch United this season.

Angus, son of ex-Fulham and Northampton Town defender Terry, played 50 times for Stratford after signing for the club at the start of the 2015/16 season. He left Town for local rivals Redditch in December 2016.

Vale boss, Neil Aspin, said: “We’re hoping he can progress here but there’s no pressure as he’s got to step up a few leagues, but he’s got some potential.”
