THERE is still time to enter the popular Stratford-upon-Avon Santa Run.

The Shakespeare Hospice event takes place in Stratford Recreation Ground at 11am this Saturday, 9th December.

Runners will complete two 2.5km laps of a picturesque route, starting at the Rec and crossing the footbridge and running along Waterside, following the River Avon, past the RSC theatres and Holy Trinity Church, before making their way back via Lucy’s Mill Bridge.

For pictures from last year’s event, which raised around £8,000, CLICK HERE.

Entry this year costs £15 for adults and £10 for under 12s, each adult gets a free Santa suit and hat, and children can take part in fancy dress with a prize awarded to the best dressed.

To enter, see or turn up on the morning of the event.

The Myton Hospices’ Santa Dash takes place on Sunday, 10th December, at the Leamington Spa Pump Room Gardens, also over a 5k course.

Entry costs £15 for adults and £5 for children, which includes a Santa suit for adults and elf costume for children. Family entry costs £35.

See to enter.
