STRATFORD Hockey Club coach Oli Hyatt is setting about nurturing the next generation of hockey players with innovative sessions for tots as young as two years old.

Hyatt came up with the Little Sticks idea to give youngsters a basic grounding in a variety of skills with the emphasis on fun, and getting their parents involved too.

After the success of the first programme of ten-week sessions, backed by sponsors Listers and thanks to funding from Stratford Town Trust, Hyatt is already looking forward to developing more sessions.

Meanwhile, the club will begin their third Back to Hockey programme this Sunday, 15th October, for players keen to get back playing once more.

It starts at 10am at Stratford-upon-Avon School.
