SHIPSTON took another step on the road to Wembley after recording a 38-15 win at Edwardians in the RFU Midland Senior Vase.
The Rams raced over the line for six tries to ease into the third round.
Though Eds opened the scoring with a penalty, Shipston then had the edge with scores from Harry Clark, George Waywell, Sam Cooper, Rob James, Tommy Barry and Leo Brice.
Alcester were left shellshocked after bowing out of the Senior Vase after a 60-29 defeat at home to Harborne.
The Kings Coughton side, however, had looked in a strong position when they opened a 24-3 in the first half, thanks to tries from Phil Birks, Jamie Harland, Scott Carmichael and Jack Horton.
But the hosts had a player sinbinned and another injured as their momentum stalled and Harborne powered home.
Harbury progresed in the Junior Vase, thanks to a determined performance in defeating hosts St Neots 18-16.
Man-of-the-match Chris Milburn was among the tryscorers, with Paul Evans and Steve Alford also touching down, and Ricky Alford kicking a penalty.
This weekend, Shipston have a home game against Old Coventrians Alcester host Ledbury, and Harbury visit Redditch. Claverdon, who had no fixture last weekend, travel to Bedworth.
